Obama: Memorial Day v. Veterans Day

Last year on Memorial Day, THE OBAMA said:

On this Memorial Day, as our nation honors its unbroken line of fallen heroes — and I see many of them in the audience here today – our sense of patriotism is particularly strong.

This year, he said:

This Memorial Day weekend, Americans will gather on lawns and porches, fire up the grill, and enjoy the company of family, friends, and neighbors. But this is not only a time for celebration, it is also a time to reflect on what this holiday is all about; to pay tribute to our fallen heroes; and to remember the servicemen and women who cannot be with us this year because they are standing post far from home – in Iraq, Afghanistan, and around the world.

One would think that the Commander-in-Chief would KNOW that Veterans’ Day honors our Veterans, Armed Forces Day honors our serving military and Memorial Day honors those who fell in service to our country.

His bather about treating our Veterans well – his biggest bundler for campaign contributions was Jodee Evans of Code Pink – one of the biggest denigraters of America and her troops.It is shameful that he has never done anything for Veterans, but to condemn those of us who have always been there to help is beyond insulting.

I don’t think Obama can give a speech without apologizing for our country and lying – he detests this country and everything it stands for.  I wonder how many “fallen heroes” will be sitting before him on Monday… he better be careful – at Arlington, their spirits may rise up and smite him.
