Bo Obama ~ A Tale of Lack of Discipline

In the land of tale tales in Obamaland, the tales about Bo have to be the biggest and the stupidest.  After the initial presentation of Bo, he is rarely seen and seldom talked about – but when he is, what whoppers!

Michelle Obama tells the tale to CBS news:

Most of his dog days begin with early morning walks on the grounds with Michelle Obama, and end with a nighttime jaunt with President Barack Obama, the couple juggling their four-legged family member in shifts the way the first lady says they once handled daughters Malia and Sasha.

But – we were told that the dog was the girls – and why aren’t they doing any of the walking?  Perhaps the novelty has worn off with this untrained and unruly animal, as tales of his bad behavior are common.  Perhaps he’s chewed up too many of the girls shoes, toys, books to be fun anymore. And, a dog who is still chewing at 10 months will never stop – he has his adult teeth, now it just sport.

He has torn up at least one magazine and gone after the president’s gym shoes, the first lady told an interviewer. He also has been found with a sock, which he dropped and scampered away from with a “you-caught-me” look on his furry face.

His behavior and lack of supervision were evident on his ride in Air Force One:

Bo accompanied the family on Air Force One to Martha’s Vineyard, Mass., for summer vacation, creating a minor sensation when he wandered into the press cabin at the rear of the aircraft on each leg of the round trip. Malia rescued him the first time, an Obama aide the second.

My great humor is Michelle’s contention:

Mrs. Obama said the family is good about closing the White House’s many doors to limit Bo’s access. She also has taken him for lessons at a training school in the city’s Georgetown neighborhood.

Ummm, really?  You took your dog to a training session without your entourage and the press corps and multiple pictures of you being a good dog owner – I’m finding that a little hard to believe.

But, funniest of all is Barry’s big lie:

“I’m the guy with the night shift,” he told one television interviewer. “We go out and we’re walking and I’m picking up poop and in the background is the beautifully lit White House. It’s quite a moment.”

Yep, you bet I believe he is 1) out there alone and 2) picking up poop.  I’m not sure I even believe he walks the dog – again – photos?

All previous President’s and their families are often photographed with their dogs – their companions and part of the family.  Not the Obama’s.  And, when Bo is seen, it isn’t with the family.

It strains the trust and belief to see the Obama’s as responsible dog owners.

(I wonder how much we pay people to walk and clean up after and feed Bo?)

Correction:  Obama stated that Bo turned a year old on October 9 – that makes that dog essentially untrainable – wonder how many antiques the dog has chewed up in the White House….
