So, the squeaky clean image of the much talented, admired and adored Tiger Woods has forever been erased.  As usual, when confronted by yet another life filled with bad behavior, people are defending this abuser of marriage and society.  The excuses are piling up.  People are even attacking his wife.

To attack his wife for his infidelity is disgusting.  If he wasn’t happy, he should have separated or divorced.  He chose to do neither.  He just cheated on his wife… over and over and over and over and over.  It is not Elin’s fault that he cheated on her.  It is not his children’s fault that he betrayed their mother.

Tiger Woods is a jerk – an incredibly wealthy jerk.  While his image was cultivated so carefully, what lurked behind that image is a rather disgusting man.

And, what of the stream of cocktail waitresses and bar managers that he screwed… is the concept of marriage too deep for them too?  As the stream of affairs continues to rise, one has to be disgusted, not only at Tiger, but at the women as well.

I do not wish Tiger well.  I wish him the misery that he has sown.

There is much to criticize about the way this classless moron dealt with this dinner, but for the very first time, I would like to compliment her on her choice of dress – it is stunningly beautiful – and they were even able to tape her boobs so that it appears that she has some.  Normally, the woman looks like she raided her girls closets with the inappropriate clothing she wears – of course her kids dress like they get to pick out of the missionary barrel, so I guess it isn’t as bad as their closets, but usually the clothes are more appropriate for that age group.

India’s Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and his wife were treated to the “first State Dinner” of the Obama presidency – except, like everything else the Obama’s do, that wasn’t true.  A “State Dinner” is for the Head of State.  The President of India is the Head of State – the Prime Minister is not. Of course, if you google Obama ‘State Dinner’, you will find they called the Governor’s Dinner a State Dinner, too.

And, like everything the Obama’s do, they had to go overboard to set some sort of record.  They invited so many celebrities that they had to set up a tent on the lawn to house the crowds.  The China settings (Bush China, 320 place settings, Clinton China 300 settings) had to be mixed and matched, and supplemented with the Eisenhower serving dishes to accommodate all of the people they invited.  The dinner was not a taste of America – they bowed at the waist and made fake Indian food.  I can guarantee that when other countries host dinners, they don’t make American food for an American president.  To annoy her White House staff, once again, Michelle brought in a “guest chef” to do the cooking.  My favorite big lie is that ‘the garden’ produced the arugula for that crowd – IF it were growing season, that garden was never large enough to produce that much arugula, especially at one time.   Most Americans are so far removed from the farm that they believe this crap.  Then the color scheme of green and purple – the greens did not match – throwing olives and emeralds together – with purple flowers.  Michelle said to evoke the peacocks of India.  Has Michelle ever seen a peacock?  I’ve been around a lot of peacocks in my life and purple is not a color on a peacock. but, once again, why wasn’t she evoking AMERICA and THANKSGIVING?

Can we get a price tag on this arrogant extravaganza?

Classless Morons.  I can hardly wait for Christmas.

Update – In keeping with the Hollywood Hype of the Obama’s, some reality TV people bluffed their way in to what should have been about the most secure place in our country… Reality TV and the Obama’s – fits somehow.

The LAST topic that I ever want to post on is Sarah Palin – but, she is going to have the week of overexposure in the extreme.  As anyone who reads here knows, I am NOT a fan of Sarah Palin. And, I find her fan clubs especially annoying.

Her book debuts today, Tuesday, November 17.  In a few short months she has put together a 400+ page tome.  This week will be a flash of media attention with non-stop interviews with Barbara Walters and Oprah.  We will get to listen to her voice screech across the musical scale like an 8-year-old with a new violin.  Her non-musical giggling will assault our ears.  We will also get to hear gossip and folksy words and her complete inability to articulate in the English language.  Oh goodie!

Now, I am aware that giggly girls are a turn on for men – the dumb cheerleader routine and all – but, what happened to women’s brains?  These were the girls who wrecked your life in high school and giggled when they did it, and now you are acting like Britney Spears is your best friend despite the fact that she stole your boyfriend….

No one has ever heard a policy stance from Sarah Palin.  The mantra is “she’s a conservative” – based on what?  What is her policy on the economy, on the middle east, on Iraq, on Afghanistan, on judicial appointments?  You don’t know, because if she has any, she’s never said. She gave one rousing speech at the Republican Convention, then repeated the vapid thing over and over and over and over.

What do we know about Sarah Palin?  Not much.  I do know that she is given a pass for everything Obama-like she does, and they are more similar than you think – oops, you’re not thinking.

I am also not a fan of Obama.  In fact this entire Fan Club atmosphere around politicians, making them into celebrities, refusing to see them as human, is about as detrimental as it can get in America.  I want people who govern us to be analyzed and criticized.  We are currently living under a President who sees himself more as a dictator than as a President.  Sarah Palin is no different, and perhaps worse.  She whines about being the VP candidate in such a way that confirms that she had no clue what her role was. Lady, you were NOT on the top of the ticket.  VP candidates don’t give concession speeches, you idiot.

Gawd, this is going to be a LOOOOOOOOOOOOONG week.

I hate this picture.  It’s bad enough that I am not a fan of Sarah Palin, but this picture makes me dislike my fellow conservatives…

To this day, the right is still bemoaning (whining) about Obama not putting his hand over his heart during the National Anthem at a campaign event a few years ago.  But, no one on the right seems to notice that Sarah Palin is casually leaning on a waded up American flag in this staged photo.  I find this horribly disrespectful.

Defenders of Palin – do you want a President who doesn’t respect the flag or a President who can’t say ‘I won’t do that’ to a camera crew from Runner’s Magazine?  OR – are you all hypocrites?

Both the real book – Going Rogue and the detractors book – Going Rouge – debut on November 17.  More of the ‘cult of Sarah’ fascination that is beyond comprehension to me… I don’t understand why people care either way about it.  When I asked, one very smart and interesting analyst said, “I like how much she upsets the opposion.”  Well, that’s fine and well, but that’s not a reason for her to be thought of as Presidential… we have Obama and look at the division in this country.

However, you can PreOrder Going Rogue at Amazon for the price of $9.00 – If you feel like you have to read this book, at least the price is right.

November 3, 2009 – Off Year Elections

Off Year Elections are always ‘fun’ – and watching people extrapolating meanings from them is even more ‘humorous’.  This year was a little different.

In another HISTORIC move, Obama drug the Presidency into the fray in a way never seen before.  He held rallies in Virginia.  He held rallies in New Jersey.  He spent amazing amounts of taxpayer money flying around trying to get his boys elected.  But, it was not to be!

Sarah Palin interjected herself into a local race in New York 23.  Despite the fondness of her fan club, she proved as incompetent a campaigner for others as did Barack Obama. The voters of New York 23 were not particularly thrilled in having their district turned into a national stage for social programs and they pushed back.

The voters spoke loudly and the big losers last night were Barack Obama and Sarah Palin.  They interjected themselves into races and the voters slammed the door in their faces.  The other big loser was confusing governance with social programming.  The culture wars did not play well.  Voters want the government to govern, not to manipulate social programs on either side.  When social programs were directly challenged, they lost, as gay marriage was repealed in Maine – making 31 states to deny gay marriage.

The winners last night were Republicans in Virginia and New Jersey.  It was amazing to watch the Trifecta in Virginia of Bob McDonnell as Governor, Bob Bolling as Lt Governor and Ken Cuccinelli as Attorney General and astonishing to see the victory of Chris Christie in New Jersey – Republicans in all in states where Obama used a great deal of political capital to get them defeated.  HISTORIC! Congratulations to all!

Why did they win? – they won because they ran on the governance issues and didn’t muddy the waters with social programming.  The adults in this country are sick of social programming and they spoke loudly at the polls last night.

In New York 23, Sarah Palin interjected herself to replace the Republican candidate in a bullying move of attacks from her Facebook site (I mean, really?)  While able to drive Scozzafava out of the race and drive a wedge into the weakened Republican Party, she also LOST.

The spin machines are busy this morning distancing themselves from the races – “Obama went to a Miley Cyrus concert and didn’t even watch the results” – and I have a bridge to sell you.  If it didn’t matter to him, why was he campaigning all of the time and spending taxpayer money to do it?

If the races had gone differently, Obama would have taken full credit – but he doesn’t want credit for the loss – sorry, you get both!

Soupy Sales has died – and I hope he is eternally surrounded by the joy and laughter that he gave people.

Yes, I remember Soupy Sales… and, it is a memory that includes, with great fondness, family that is now distant and cold.

Soupy was 83 years old.  He was known for his large bow tie (and none of us knew the color in the days of black and white tv) and the pies in the face.   His sidekicks were White Fang (the meanest dog in the United States) and Black Tooth (the nicest dog in the United States). Famous entertainers were willing to go on his show and get their pies in the face alongside Soupy – people like Frank Sinatra, Tony Curtis, Shirley McClaine.

He did his “kids show” live – over 5,300 shows.  I remember it coming on at 3pm – as we got home from school.  My cousin practically lived for it.

One time Soupy got himself suspended for telling the kids to empty their mothers’ purse and mail him all the pieces of green paper bearing pictures of the presidents.
